We work around prep and service, keeping dishes close to the way the kitchen serves them. The same shoot can cover the room, bar, chef and team.
The final set is shaped for menus, website, reservation platforms, press and social.
Food and drinks
We photograph dishes as the kitchen sends them out, at the pass or on a nearby table. Cocktails and wine are poured fresh and shot before the ice moves.

The room comes first, before service. Then the kitchen, chef and team. Once guests arrive, we photograph the pace and atmosphere of the evening.

Good to know
- Do we need a food stylist?
- Not always. For most venues the kitchen plates and we direct on the pass. For campaign work we bring a stylist.
- How many dishes fit in one day?
- Roughly fifteen to twenty-five plated dishes, plus the room and drinks, depending on kitchen speed.
- Do you shoot while the restaurant is open?
- Yes. We cover the room before doors open and the atmosphere once it fills, with a compact set-up that stays out of the way of service.
- Do you also deliver video?
- Yes. Short vertical motion of dishes, the bar and the room is often shot on the same day as the photography.
